With the high cost of gasoline we all need to find as many ways to save. including the government involment in making higher mile per gallon standards for automobiles. In 1985 then President Ronald Reagan struck down the MPG(CAFE) standards that President Jimmy Carter put into place.If These things where kept in place we wouldn’t need to import near as much oil as we do today…Here is something I found to help us in the future.
